Description

This class presents an in depth examine of soil properties with emphasis on interpretation of discipline and laboratory check knowledge and their use in soft-ground building engineering. Matters to be lined embrace: consolidation and secondary compression; primary energy rules; stress-strain energy conduct of clays, emphasizing results of pattern disturbance, anisotropy, and pressure charge; energy and compression of granular soils; and engineering properties of compacted soils. Some data of discipline and laboratory testing is assumed for all college students.
