TOY PRODUCT DESIGN

Description
Toy Product Design is a MIT Public Service Middle service studying design course provided within the Spring semester. This course, beforehand listed as SP.778, is an introduction to the product design course of with a concentrate on designing for play and leisure.
On this course, college students work in small groups of 5-6 members to design and prototype new toys. College students work carefully with a neighborhood sponsor, an elementary college, and skilled mentors on a themed toy design mission. College students can be launched to the product improvement course of, together with figuring out buyer wants; brainstorming; estimation; sketching; sketch modeling; idea improvement; design aesthetics; detailed design; prototyping; and written, visible, and oral communication.
