This free course, Challenging ideas in mental health, takes you on a journey of discovery the place you’re invited to problem ideas, each new and outdated, in relation to mental health. It’s made up of a collection of three sections. The primary part, ‘Boundaries of clarification’, units out the theme of boundaries: boundaries inside and between teams; inside and between explanatory frameworks; and inside and between experiences of mental health and misery. The second part, ‘Whose threat is it anyway?’, considers a important account of the growing deal with threat (significantly threat to others) in insurance policies {and professional} follow in the final 40 years. The third part, ‘The enterprise of insanity’, appears at two controversial areas of mental health: the expansion of mental health as a enterprise, pushed in half by market forces, and the revenue motive.
